Scottish Ancestry in Gleichen – Maclean/Brown Family
Trying to trace details of my Scottish ancestry in Alberta/BC. Peter Maclean, his wife Mary Young Maclean and their children Jean Adams, Hector Fitzroy and Ian Cameron. Peter was initially a farmer in the Calgary area. Also Mary’s sister, Georgina Brown. The family were registered in Gleichen in the 1911 and 1916 census, thereafter, at some point, most of them moved to Vancouver.
