Registering an Account and Logging In
Go to the Home Page
1) Go to www.gleichenalberta.ca
2) Scroll down and click on the Register link on the right side of the site, beneath the weather box and the heading Admin
Fill in the Fields to Create Your Account
1) Enter a username (e.g., johnsmith)
2) Enter and confirm a password
3) Enter a screen name (e.g., John Smith)
4) Enter your email address
5) Check "I agree to the terms of service"
6) Click Submit
If you've filled in the fields properly, you will see a thank you page, letting you know an activation email has been sent to you.
Check Your Email and Activate Your Account
You will receive an email to the address you specified. Click on the link to activate your account.
Once your account has been activated, return to the home page by clicking on the link.
Log In
Once back on the home page, scroll down to the Admin heading. This time, click on the Log In link.
Enter your username and password and click Submit.
You're now logged in to the site. You can now post comments, News items, and Events.
